Acknowledging the Council

If you receive a grant or support from the Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts (PEICA) you must acknowledge that support. This recognition must consist of both the PEICA wordmark and acknowledgment message.

As of 2012 the Council will no longer be specifying the manner in which that acknowledgment is made. In the new application section B3 applicants will specify how they plan to acknowledge the Council's support in a manner most appropriate to their project.

It is important to remember that the requirement of acknowledgment, particularly for creation support, is ongoing for that work. For example, if the Council supports the writing of a manuscript, if that manuscript is later published, we would expect to see acknowledgment in that publication.

Council staff are happy to confer with applicants to help determine what is appropriate and when.

Failure to acknowledge the Council's support will lead, ultimately, to that applicant being ineligible for future funding.

Logos and Recognition

It is very important that recipients of Council funds and participants in Council programs properly recognize the support of the Council, and with that, the support of the Province of Prince Edward Island.

That recognition must contain our logo and a brief acknowldgement of the Department of Tourism and Culture as seen here:

Funding for this project is administered by the PEI Council of the Arts, on behalf of the Department of Tourism & Culture.

Reconnaître l’appui du Conseil

Si le Conseil des arts de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard accorde une subvention ou un appui financier à votre projet, celui-ci doit comporter une reconnaissance. Pour ce faire, vous devez indiquer le mot-symbole du Conseil ainsi qu’un message de reconnaissance.

À compter de 2012, le Conseil ne régira plus la façon dont il faut faire cette reconnaissance. Dans le nouveau formulaire de demande, les demandeurs devront indiquer à la section B3 comment ils ont l’intention de reconnaitre l’appui du Conseil dans le cadre de leur projet.

N’oubliez pas que cette reconnaissance doit être exprimée durant toute la durée du projet, particulièrement lorsqu’il est question d’un projet de création. Par exemple, si une subvention est accordée pour appuyer l’écriture d’un manuscrit et que celui-ci finit par être publié, la publication doit elle aussi comporter une reconnaissance.

Le personnel du Conseil est toujours disponible pour aider les demandeurs à déterminer quand et comment ils doivent formuler cette reconnaissance.

Si l’appui du Conseil n’est pas reconnu, le demandeur ne sera plus admissible à recevoir du financement.

Logos et reconnaissance

Les gens qui reçoivent du financement du Conseil ou qui participent aux programmes du Conseil doivent s’assurer de reconnaître cet appui et, par le fait même, l’appui du gouvernement de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard.

Pour ce faire, vous devez utiliser notre logo et faire mention du ministère du Tourisme et de la Culture. Par exemple :

Ce projet est financé par le Conseil des arts de l’Î.-P.-É. au nom du ministère du Tourisme et de la Culture.

Vous trouverez ci-joint notre logo en formats PNG (en filigrane) et PDF, ainsi qu’un fichier de type Photoshop (PSD) que vous pouvez télécharger et manipuler.

Note : Nous vous recommandons de cliquer à droite sur chacun des fichiers puis des sauvegarder sur votre ordinateur. Si vous cliquez à gauche, les fichiers apparaitront dans une fenêtre de navigateur. Les versions blanches des fichiers sont conçues pour les fonds noirs. Dans la fenêtre de navigateur, les fichiers auront l’air d’être vides.
